WHY PIANO?There’s something uniquely special about knowing how to play the piano. Whether you’re at a family gathering, a new friend’s house, passing through an airport, or lounging in a hotel lobby - you can sit down and share a song. It’s one of the most versatile instruments you can learn. Once you understand the fundamentals, you open the door to an enormous range of music—from classical favorites to pop songs, movie themes, jazz standards, and everything in between.
The piano is also the best gateway instrument to any other future musical endeavors for you or your child. It’s arguably the best instrument to learn the language of music. But, maybe we’re biased. :)

GROUP PIANO CLASSES
Our 50-minute group piano classes are the heart of our piano program, designed for students ages 6–17, beginning - intermediate levels.
Meeting once a week in a small group setting, students learn by watching one another, and discover that music can be collaborative as well as personal. With plenty of individual attention built into every class, students gain skills, confidence, and momentum—often finding that progress feels more natural when they are learning together.
$170 / month : first family member

PRIVATE PIANO LESSONS
Offered by invitation only. These lessons are for students who have earned a deeper, more individual focus and are ready to take their playing further. Private piano lessons offer one-on-one guidance tailored entirely to them. These lessons are the next step for students who have finished the course of group classes, or for new students coming to our studio with at least a few years of piano experience and a dedication to learning and enjoying the instrument.

ADULT PIANO classes

If that sounds familiar, this 50 minute weekly class is for you. Whether you remember a few notes or are starting from scratch, we’ll help you rebuild your skills, rediscover the joy of playing, and finally learn the pieces you’ve always wished you could play. You’ll learn to read music, understand chords and rhythm, develop technique, and begin playing recognizable pieces from the very beginning.

ARE GROUP CLASSES AS EFFECTIVE AS PRIVATE LESSONS?
Absolutely! Our group classes are just as effective—if not more effective—for teaching beginning through early-intermediate piano students. Consistent review of core technique at every class, combined with our unique use of interactive learning software, helps students build strong musical foundations while reinforcing new skills in a way that is engaging, structured, and highly effective.
WHAT IF STUDENTS PROGRESS AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS?

They will—and we’re counting on it! Our classes are kept intentionally small to allow for individual attention. They combine individual piano study using headphones with sections of group ensemble playing. If a student progresses through the level faster than the 12 week session, they are welcome to move into a new level.
DOES MY STUDENT NEED TO PRACTICE ON A KEYBOARD AT HOME?

Having a digital piano at home will unlock the fun and convenient use of the computer software at home for piano assessment. And yes, students should practice at home as much as they can. We encourage families to incorporate a practice schedule into their daily schedules.
SHOULD PARENTS BE PRESENT DURING THE CLASSES?

We love having parents observing their students lessons from our adjacent waiting area. And feel free to poke your head into the room if you’d like to watch anything specific during the class. We politely ask that all students aged 6-8 have a parent or guardian on the premises at all times. Students 9+ do not require a parent or guardian to remain on the premises, but we ask you to arrive 5-10 minutes early to pick up your student.
